ABSTRACT
The National Base Curriculum and the Teaching Practice complement each other
to develop the educational quality, since the CNB constitutes the progressive
organization of the learning and the disposition of the circumstances that are made
possible through the actions of the subjects of the education. And planning is the
professional exercise where the level of theoretical and practical competence in the
management and application of the curriculum is evidenced. Consequently, the
CNB is going to constitute the platform to be a teacher who is heading towards the
realization of a set of goals.
According to this, the need arose to study the topic: the curriculum and its
importance in the development of the academic offers of the INED de
Mazatenango, aimed to establish how the curriculum is operated in the Teaching
Practice. For the field work, the survey was used as an instrument together with
the interview and observation, within the framework of a descriptive investigation.
And through a solid discussion of results, it is concluded that teachers, although
they plan, carry out activities and evaluate the education process, they show a
distance from what the management and application of the CNB really implies in
professional practice and in turn in Careers taught there.
Therefore, it is recommended that principals and teachers know significantly the
foundation of the CNB, planning, methodology and evaluation of learning. And at
the same time a program for the integral formation of the teacher is proposed
through training and workshops, which are broken down into four modules, to
exercise the profession effectively, quality intentionally placed to respond to the
requirements and demands of the integral training of the students. |
