SUMMARY
The investigation ‘’ called educational games for learning mathematics’’Study carried out at the
National Institute of Diversified education of Mazatenango Suchitepéquez process of investigation of thesis Its
part of Bachelor of Psychopedagogy of the University Center of the South West of the University of San Carlos.
In terms of contributions and scopes of this research work, it is based on verifying the following hypothesis
“Educational games improve the learning of mathematics”, as part of the research process related to said
hypothesis, it has a line of investigation of cases of Experimental form, the method used to obtain the
information and data has been three tests, diagnostic, partial and final. Since it will attempt an approach to the
numerical reality of middle-level students, where the results will be noticeable at the end of the process and we
will know the calculation skills through educational games and the traditional method. The Educational games
was aplicated to the mathematics learning to 43 students of Fourth grade of science and letters with orientation
in computer section “A” of the National Institute of Diversified education of Mazatenango Suchitepéquez Who
are in ages of 14 to 19 years old in most cases they have to Work to provide their families and studies, so Its
necesary Make Study Strategies, Like educational games To promote interest in mathematics. The investigation
Identify the tip of Life Proposed in the educational games For the well-being of young people From an
educational Qualitative since it has allowed to have a multiplicity of realities. Based into impact of the
educational games To learn mathematics the emotionals changed, conductuals changed and the description
emotionals and the form of a cualitie future Life of the personalitiy of people Who practice the educational
