Abstract
When carrying out the teaching practice at the Telesecundaria Institute located in Cantón
Chiguaxte, the idea of this research arose, since like this one, the Telesecundaria institutes of
the Suchitepéquez department were founded with an innovative pedagogical model that was
based on the application educational technology to provide the basic education cycle in rural
areas, where there was little or no educational coverage. During the years that have elapsed, a
study has not been demonstrated to review the pedagogical innovation that these institutes have
had to provide a quality service to the student population under the conditions of the Covid 19
pandemic. To carry out this investigation, we proceeded to carry out structured interviews with
the director, teachers and students of said educational center, who agree that there are some
limitations that do not allow the growth of the project, in addition that there has been a
technological lag within the institution, as well as a certain degree of abandonment by of the
Mineduc that do not allow their innovation through the incorporation of ICT's in the classrooms
and much more now that non-contact classes are being taught. The fact that currently there are
personal limitations of students that make it difficult to use technological resources to innovate
the pedagogical model of tele-secondary institutes before the closure of school buildings is
highlighted. |
