The research was carried out at Finca Guanipa 1, located at the geographical coordinates 14 ° 20’42 ”north latitude and 90 ° 48’ 54.2 ”west longitude, relative to the Greenwich meridian. Banana production at Finca Guanipa takes place under the quality parameters required by certification companies such as Rain Forest Aliance and Global G.A.P that accredit it to be able to introduce their product abroad.
