Sumario: This research was framed in the alternatives that exist to improve teaching performance, specifically of Physical Education professors of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí. Teaching performance is a concept with apparently shared meaning; Consequently, this study makes reference to some reflections that involve, to some extent, the work carried out by teachers in higher education classrooms. The objective is to establish that the academic offer, made up of the study plans, subjects and master's and doctorate programs that the University offers, it is closely related to the performance of everyone who seeks to improve the teaching practice. The teaching performance is a complex process, which must be conditioned to life and work, dedicating a lot of time to study, research and the different activities involved with teaching. In the study, all the results obtained in the investigation were tabulated and plotted, using statistical investigation for this process. You can find the conclusions reached in the investigations From these, the need to insist in our educational institution on the direct relationship that exists between academic offers and teaching performance was evidenced. For this reason, higher education must offer the market study programs that promote continuous training.
