From an early age, Severo Ochoa de Albornoz showed an interest in natural sciences. His commitment and the support of his teachers, led him to study medicine in search of biochemistry. His good academic performance, and living with prominent people, gradually allowed him to contribute to the scientific development of science. His notable scientific production, together with the political situations in Spain, led him to have vast experiences abroad and, even, to become a USA citizen. His career was recognized by many people and entities around the world, which made him to win a Nobel Prize and be an important person in various fields of knowledge beyond the natural sciences. |
