Sumario: This paper is based on some strategies that a teacher uses to teach English through interaction between students of seventh grade of high school. This research was achieved in a public school with thirty six students. During the investigation it will found beneficial strategies to promote the interaction between students in the English classroom which would increase the learning of the target language and promote communication. It used the qualitative approach because the research is based on the experiences of the group of study. It used descriptive method to describe different strategies used by the teacher to promote interaction between students. It was necessary to make three classroom observations in order to identify what kind of strategies were used by the teacher and the way those ones were applied. It was very useful to apply some data collection tools to obtain real information. It applied survey and interview with students in order to verify how effective are strategies used during the English class. Also it applied an interview to the teacher to take into account his point of view as an English teacher. At the end, this research proposed some strategies in order to improve some difficulties found in this research about the interaction between students during the English class at the seventh grade of public high school.
