El estudio es de carácter descriptivo y uno de los instrumentos utilizados para la recolección de datos fue la encuesta. It analyzes the phenomenon of sexual harassment as a reality in the labor field of the Costa Rican tourism sector, and specifically in the hotel subsector, and the effect that the law may have on this problem. It also seeks to know the current status of the regulation of the Law against Sexual Harassment in employment and teaching, in the workplaces of the hotel subsector, as well as to determine the procedures used by the employer sector to address and process complaints and denunciations of sexual harassment. The study is descriptive in nature and one of the instruments used for data collection was the survey.
