The main objective of this research work is to analyze the management of the methodological adaptations that the English teachers of the Colegio Secundario de Volcan use to adapt their classes to students with special educational needs, specifically, to those students who have mild intellectual disabilities This secondary school has a population of students of one thousand seven hundred for the year two thousand nineteen, of which fourteen with mild intellectual disability have been diagnosed. This group of students make up the sample that was taken for the observation and study of the research work. The fourteen students are distributed in the seventh, eighth and ninth grades, respectively, of the Colegio Secundario de Volcan To gather the information, some techniques were used, such as observation and anecdotal registration, where allthe information observed by students in English classrooms was collected. On the one hand, the observation was applied to see the development of students with mild intellectual disabilities, with respect to the methodological adjustments made by teachers. And, on the other hand, the interview, in turn, was used for the application of the questionnaire instrument, with educators, special needs specialists, and other actors involved in the context of these students.
