Dermocosmetics are those cosmetic products where its ingredients have been effective with scientific research. The cosmetics industry in Panama only covers 1.37% of the manufacturing industry, the Panamanian market, which dominates imports from countries such as Mexico, the United States, Colombia and Spain. Panamanian women are mainly concernedwith acquiring products for hair use followed by products at the body level (cleaning, hydration, reducing and firming). For the classification of facial products, the most used are those of cleaning, hydration, exfoliation and anti-wrinkle. The third category with the highest demand is aromatherapy (soaps, gels, oil andsales). Other products consumed are hair removal, podiatry, organic deodorants and specific treatments in aesthetic and dermatological clinics.
