Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to demonstrate that an assertive administration promotes
internal communication in members of the school community, a healthy work environment
and this leads to better educational quality.
At the Rafael Álvarez Ovalle Mixed Urban Official School in San Gabriel Suchitepéquez.
This research was carried out with the premise of showing that promoting educational quality
is the primary axis of the students' learning process, this is obtained by applying assertive
administration.
The educational administration, which as its name indicates, is responsible for giving
guidelines to the educational administrator. When he knows his functions and applies them
correctly, everything goes hand in hand to achieve the educational quality that students need
so that they are professionals and can perform in any work environment.
In the National Education Law of Guatemala, Legislative Decree No. 12-91, essential
guidelines are established for the educational administrator, it also promotes that the quality
of education that the student must receive from the teacher is adequate. This as long as it can
be applied correctly, I quote “Article 5. Definition of Educational Quality. Quality education
is scientific, critical, participatory, democratic and dynamic. It is based on the right to
education, comprehensive training with cultural relevance, promotes equal opportunities
within the framework of equity, inclusion and optimization of resources. Educational quality
allows people to learn and develop skills that help them reflect and understand the past, that
are meaningful and relevant in the present, and that prepare them for the future. The
educational quality that is intended, is measurable, is based on learning to learn, learning to
be, learning to do, learning to live together, and learning to undertake to transform society in
harmony with nature," as established by law. Educational quality is based on several
important factors that give the student tools to function in any field. |
