Sumario: The Ministry of Education; as the governing body of Guatemalan education; in conjunction with the Congress of the Republic, they join forces to achieve the efficient educational quality of all those people who belong to the national educational system. Reason why, they decided to give way to the innovation of the School Recreation Program by strengthening it into a more complete one such as providing a healthy and safe diet; according to resolution 29452 of the year 2017, where the Law is decreed; and it goes from being a food supplement to a richer, more adequate and nutritional supplement. However, although the School Feeding Program was created to obtain positive aspects that motivate its implementation; This usually presents an ups and downs of opinion and visualization; before its last modification. Therefore, with this study, a free step was made to verify whether the modifications made to the Law benefit or hinder school feeding in the educational community of District 96-39, Rural Area of Mazatenango. Using the qualitative and quantitative method, conclusions were reached that yielded significant results in the search for an improvement proposal for the implementation of the support program for school recreation.
