Nowadays, English teachers have faced arduous work with online classes because teachers and their students had to adapt to the online environment. The purpose of this research is to analyze visualization and repetition as motivation for preschoolers to speak English in online classes. Besides, to determine if visualization encourages students to speak more in online classes. Also, to assess the effect of repetition in helping preschoolers to actively participate in online classes. The subject of the study was 18 students from preschool and English teachers, teacher surveys, and class observations were used as data collection techniques. The findings suggest that preschoolers need visualization and repetition to be motivated to speak more in online classes because they need to be active and interact at the same time they are learning. Aside from that English teachers missed applying the strategies necessary to have an interactive and fun class with children. Besides, the Ministry of education should have an alternative program for unexpected situations and provide to the English teachers training that improves teaching strategies, workshops about the use of technological tools for a successful class and didactic materials such as flashcards, posters, worksheets, and supplies to make handicrafts 2021-02-01 Thesis NonPeerReviewed text es http://repositorio.unan.edu.ni/15138/1/15138.pdf image es cc_by_nc_nd http://repositorio.unan.edu.ni/15138/2/CC.jpg Rosa Paiz, Hazel Isabel and Martinez Herrera, Joseling Esther (2021) Visualization and repetition to motivate preschoolers to speak in online classes.
