La narración no sólo se da en el campo de la literatura, también está presente en casi todas las actividades humanas. La leyenda es también una narración, es algo definido concretamente: una narración fantástica, que combina en sorprendente contraste unos hechos extraordi­narios con una referencia concreta de lugar y de personas bien sean históricas o imaginarias, de acuerdo con criterios de Lloréns. Narration is a relation of events, usually past, that refers to the event in which someone says something to someone about something that has happened and that is always subsequent to the event to which it refers. Storytelling does not only occur in the field of literature, it is also present in almost all human activities. The legend is also a narrative, it is something concretely defined: a fantastic narrative, which combines in surprising contrast extraordinary events with a specific reference to place and people, whether historical or imaginary, according to Lloréns' criteria.
