Sumario: Summary: The Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT) represents the process and development of Costa Rica in socioeconomic terms, linked to the scope of action that impacts the traceability of road, air, and maritime transportation along with its infrastructure. From this perspective, the human resources system must be avant-garde in terms of developing the talent of those who work in this institution, and in the harmony that must prevail between the clarity of the work, and the personnel required for its successful execution.Departamento de Gestión de la Organización del Trabajo (DGOT) is the instance called to achieve this harmony, developing and implementing optimal and standardized tools that allow it to generate products that contribute to the achievement of institutional objectives. A series of elements that are affecting the aforementioned harmonization were evidenced, in particular the construction of the position profiles for Manual de Cargos Institucional del MOPT. Given this requirement, the objective is to generate instructions that incorporate the criteria with which it is possible to transmit, evaluate and review the technical information, based on the involvement and participation of the workers in the Proceso de Gestión de la Organización del Trabajo, belonging to the Dirección de Gestión Institucional de Recursos Humanos at MOPT, for the fourth quarter of 2022. The foregoing favored the construction of instruments and conclusions, which seek to help the Administration to optimize and standardize the management of the DGOT, and this in turn, promote the modernization of mechanisms that facilitate and give added value to said management for the achievement of his ministerial mission.
