The study Feelings of Women, in their Family, Work and Personal Role, was carried out
in the District of David, Barrio el Cabrero, where the environment and social scenario is located
called Faculty of Public Administration, of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí: In this area,
the four social actors of this institution work, who contributed valuable information for the
research.
This study uses the qualitative approach since it seeks to understand the feelings of women
in their family, work and personal role from the perspective of social actors, with an exploratory
scope because it is a problem that has not been studied frequently and descriptive because the
environment, scenario and conceptualizations of the categories and sub categories are described
complemented by the events of them; It is based on a phenomenological design where the objective
of the same is to collect the experiences and then describe, understand and interpret them.
Two types of samples were used: those of voluntary participants where the social actors
accepted an invitation to participate and homogeneous because they possess similar characteristics.
The results obtained reflect that the social actors are unable to maintain a balance between
their family, work and personal role, due to overwork, therefore, it is difficult for them to dedicate
time to children, spouses and personal and recreational activities.
