Sumario: The main purpose of this study has been to analyze the training of human talent and its impact on the quality of tourism and hotel services of the Bachelor of Bilingual Tourism Management of the Specialized University of the Americas (UDELAS). In this sense, to achieve the mentioned objective, a methodology based on the mixed approach was used, with descriptive research, non-experimental design and cross-sectional correlational scope. In congruence, the informant subjects were students of the Bilingual Tourism Management career at UDELAS University, administrative staff. teachers and employers of hotels, travel agencies Authority of Tourism in Panama, who have provided the opportunity for students to carry out professional practices in their companies. In summary, the research was able to determine the scarce relationship between academic training and the needs and demands of the tourist and hotel labor field at the local, regional and national level. Similarly, the inconsistency of the study plan with the degree tittle, since it is in the English language, however, some subjects are taught in Spanish. In addition, to the lack of laboratories to carry out the practical workshops of the degree. On the other hand, the competences that the student must possess when carrying out their professional practices do not coincide with the reality and demands of the labor market. Finally, as a possible solution to the identified problem is the updating of the study plan, with the proposal called: The redesign of the study plan for the Bilingual Tourism Management career at UDELAS university; being a base alternative to curriculum design, which aims to strengthen the teaching-leaning process in conjunction with the competencies, abilities, attitudes and skills that the professional of the Bilingual Tourism Management degree must possess for their effective and competent performance in the labor field tourist and hotel, both nationally and internationally.
