The economic, political, and social security of a country depends on the proper functioning of its Critical Infrastructures (CI); the COVID-19 Pandemic brings with it a series of situations that have tested our CI systems, with greater force and effects in the year 2020 and 2021; however, its effects are also medium and long term. The objective of the study is to provide a frame of reference that identifies the impacts that the main CIs have suffered and that have generated disruptions in essential services, showing vulnerabilities that require attention for their protection. A comprehensive review of similar studies and reports is conducted to present a real-world scenario as to the operating conditions of these vital systems during the pandemic, the actions taken and the effects. |
