Sumario: Within this research, the main objective was to establish the importance of methodological strategies within the Teaching and Learning Process, to promote Significant Learning within the Faculty of Law and Political Science of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí, 2018- 2019. The problem that gave rise to this research, is related to the fact that, when the law professionals graduated from the aforementioned university, when going out to work as suitable professionals, they are not covered with practical knowledge, but of theorists, and that leads to a cognitive conflict, which would not happen if teachers who teach classes used methodological strategies to achieve or achieve meaningful learning. The information was collected through the quantitative approach, which provides statistical data, the population that was used to carry out this research was 52 teachers, and 110 students studying the fifth (IV and V) year of Law, for the collection From the information coming from the teachers, a survey was used, and to collect the information from the students, a survey was also used, both of the Liken scale type. The expert judgment was used for the validation of the instruments, and the reliability was calculated by means of Cronbach's alpha coefficient. The analysis of the data collected was carried out by applying descriptive statistics, by creating tables and frequency distribution graphs. As a result of the diagnosis, the need to create a manual of the main Methodological Strategies that can be used within the Teaching and Learning Process to promote the Significant Learning of the students of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the Autonomous University of Chiriquí is highlighte.
