The resocialization process as the basis of the penal system. Indicates that thepurpose of imposing a penalty on an established conduct is not to punish theoffending subject, creating awareness in him, removing him from those habits thatlead him to commit crimes, providing the necessary help through differentindividual processes thatallow them to function through comprehensive training.The general objective of the research is to design, develop and validate anEducational Program for post-prison resocialization with didactic strategiesapplicable to the prison in the province of Veraguas. The research has a mixedapproach with a qualitative preponderance.The design is quasi-experimental pre-test and post-test, with a control group. With a type of descriptive, cross-sectionaland explanatory study. The population is made up of persons deprived of liberty(PPL) of the Prison Center of the province of Veraguas, whose prison populationas of April 2022 is 646, of which 326 are with enforceable sentences and 95continue their criminal proceedings. The results of the study have shown that theproposed Program obtains statistically significant results at p. 0.000below thedetermined range (0.050), contributing to the resocialization of persons deprived ofliberty. |
