Sumario: Summary The present research consisted of the evaluation of the effect of rooters for the improvement of the root system of the rootstock of the cultivation of H. brasiliensis, clone IAN 873, such research was carried out in the almacigo of Santa Ana Mixpillá farm, in jurisdiction of the municipality of San Miguel Panán of the department of Suchitepéquez, Guatemala., starting on July 1, 2019 and culminating on September 30 of the same year. Within the management of nursery plants of Finca Mixipillá, the system of stumps produced and grafted into the ground and then transferred to polyethylene bags is contemplated. A disadvantage of this system is the high probability of mortality of plants in the final field, being from 30 to 50%, such a problem caused the present investigation, since at the time on the farm there were complaints from customers who bought seedlings who claimed to have had population losses possibly due to the deficient root system of the plants. Due to what happened, it was decided to investigate the subject, proposing an experiment that evaluated applied quantities of rooters, using those offered in the market plus an organic, all compared to an absolute witness. In total, a set of 15 treatments with 5 repetitions was proposed, which meant an experiment in random complete blocks of 75 experimental units.
