RESUMEN: La presente investigación estuvo orientada al estudio de los estudiantes que hacen uso de redes sociales durante su clase o práctica hospitalaria, donde el objetivo principal de esta investigación fue: Determinar la influencia de las redes sociales en el rendimiento académico del estudiante de Licenciatura en Anestesiología e Inhaloterapia, Facultad Multidisciplinaria Oriental. La metodología que se utilizó fue de tipo: Prospectiva porque la información obtenida se obtuvo mediante se realizaba la investigación, Transversal ya que se estudiaron las variables de tiempo simultáneamente, Descriptiva porque mediante ello se ordenó el resultado de las observaciones y de Campo porque se recolectaron los datos de la población en estudio. La elección de los estudiantes para la realización de este estudio fueron los que cumplieron con los criterios de inclusión, sexo masculino y femenino, los cuales conformaron la muestra que fueron los estudiantes del área específica de la carrera de Licenciatura en Anestesiología e Inhaloterapia y que cursaron los módulos y sus prácticas hospitalarias en el tiempo de la realización de la investigación. Las técnicas e instrumentos que se utilizaron son: documental bibliográfico, para obtener datos de fuentes secundarias, documental hemerográfico, para la extracción de información de fuentes de internet, de campo para evaluar la influencia de las redes sociales y el cuestionario el cual fue contestado de la manera más correcta por los estudiantes seleccionados en la investigación. Para la tabulación, análisis e interpretación de los resultados se hizo uso del Programa Estadístico Para las Ciencias Sociales (SPSS. Versión 22.0), cada tabla cuenta con su análisis e interpretación y su grafica respectiva, seguidamente están las conclusiones del estudio en la cual se investigó que el 100 % de los estudiantes consideran necesarias las redes sociales, y que consideran que tienen mucha influencia y el rendimiento académico se ve afecta en la mayoría estudiante.
ABSTRACT: This research was oriented to the study of students who make use of social networks during their class or hospital practice, where the main objective of this research was: To determine the influence of social networks on the academic performance of the student of Bachelor of Anesthesiology and Inhalotherapy, Oriental Multidisciplinary Faculty. The methodology that was used was of type: Prospective because the information obtained was obtained through the investigation, Transversal since the time variables were studied simultaneously, Descriptive because through it the result of the observations was ordered and Field because they were collected. data from the study population. The choice of students to carry out this study were those who met the inclusion criteria, male and female, which made up the sample that were the students of the specific area of the Bachelor's degree in Anesthesiology and Inhalotherapy and who studied the modules and their hospital practices at the time of conducting the research. The techniques and instruments that were used are: bibliographic documentary, to obtain data from secondary sources, hemerographic documentary, for the extraction of information from internet sources, field to evaluate the influence of social networks and the questionnaire which was answered the most correct way by the students selected in the investigation. For the tabulation, analysis and interpretation of the results, the Statistical Program for the Social Sciences (SPSS. Version 22.0) was used, each table has its analysis and interpretation and its respective graph, followed by the conclusions of the study in which investigated that 100% of the students consider social networks necessary, and that they consider that they have a lot of influence and the academic performance is affected in the majority of students
