Evaluación de combinaciones de Benciladenina y de ácido 2,4 diclorofenoxiacético, para la inducción de callo friable a partir de cotiledones de Theobroma cacao L., Malvaceae “cacao criollo”, en cultivo In vitro.

Sumario: ABSTRAC The research evaluated the combination of two phytohormones, cytokinin Benzyladenine (BAP) and auxin 2,4-dichlorophenoxyacetic acid (2,4-D), which act as growth regulators, in order to determine what higher provocative concentration friable callus formation, from cotyledon cleavages of Creole type T. cacao using the propagation method called In vitro culture. 16 treatments prepared based on Murashige medium and solid Skoog plus 10% coconut water were applied, the evaluations evaluated were for cytokinin BAP (0, 0.01, 0.02 and 0.03 mg / l) and for auxin 2,4-D (0, 0.05, 0.1 and 0.15 mg / l). The alternative hypothesis for factors A (concentrations of cytokinin BAP) and B (auxin concentrations 2,4-D) is accepted, both for the callus weight response variable and the callus volume response variable, which indicates that at least one of the interactions has a different volume and weight of callus. Therefore, a 1% TUKEY test was performed for both response variables. When performing the 1% TUKEY test, it was determined that treatment seven in which 0.01 mg / l of cytokinin and 0.1 mg / l of auxin were combined and that is the relative control, presented a higher weight of 1.32 mg and a higher volume 2.31 ml of friable callus. It was also proven that the combination of BAP and 2,4-D is essential to produce friable callus, which is achieved, although the combination is in low quantities.
