Abstract
School management as a branch of educational administration also involves the
entire school community with forms of democratic participation that support the
performance of principals and teachers, through the development of educational
projects required in the different institutions, appropriate to the characteristics and
needs of the educational community of the locality. So it is essential that in the
application of school management the directors in charge of the educational
administration of the different school centers, know this topic thoroughly, as well as the
dimensions that it covers, since there is a variety of them, but among the most relevant
is find: the institutional, pedagogical, administrative and community.
The information collected for the realization of the research is obtained through a field
study conducted in the school district, through techniques that allowed to gather
necessary information and delve into the issue of school management and its incidence,
this information is obtained by means of an interview card to the Administrative
Technical Coordinator and a survey ticket to the directors of the different educational
centers.
To achieve institutional goals in school management, there is a series of
multidisciplinary and complex processes that respond to their needs and the context of
which they are a part, and in this way offer the education community a quality
education. Among the main findings of the investigation is evidence of the application of
the administrative dimension which seeks to reconcile personal interests with
institutional ones, in such a way that decision making is facilitated, on the other hand
the time factor is essential in the position as director, because through this one acquires
the experience in the management important branch of the educational administration. |
