The proposed thesis consists in the design and elaboration of an automatic prototype for the washing of the endoscopes that allows to diminish the time of the process of rinsing, obtaining the same results of disinfection and decontamination in the endoscopes by the equipment currently used in the rooms of gastroenterology and digestive endoscopy. The contribution of this work focuses on improving existing health technologies in the country, through the design and construction of an automatic endoscope washer built with locally manufactured adjunct devices. We took into account the models and brands of the equipment used today, their cleaning processes and the importance of them in these rooms. In addition, the objective is the reduction of time, modifying the rinsing process, performing two simultaneous activities; filling the water chamber and eliminating it instantly, programmed in a fast cycle. This innovation allows the endoscopes to be decontaminated and cleaned faster without waiting a long time and this process is easier for the users who do it.
