Heavy nuclei mass calculation using F- Spin

The F spin as introduced in the Interacting Boson Model 2 (IBM-2) [8, 13] is used as proposed by E. D. David, B. R. Barret y A. F. Diallo [11, 14]to determine the masses of medium to heavy even-even nuclei in the region 50≤Z≤82, 82≤N≤126. This simple model yields very goods results, a fact that enco...

Sumario: The F spin as introduced in the Interacting Boson Model 2 (IBM-2) [8, 13] is used as proposed by E. D. David, B. R. Barret y A. F. Diallo [11, 14]to determine the masses of medium to heavy even-even nuclei in the region 50≤Z≤82, 82≤N≤126. This simple model yields very goods results, a fact that encourages it usage for other nuclei far from the stability, particularly along the drip line.
