This research studies the influence of seasonal variation on the efficiency of pollutant removal of the wastewater treatment plant located in Juan Diaz, Panama City. Six sites were selected for study, where physicochemical and biological wastewater parameters were measured. Most of the results were within the ranges set by the standard for liquid effluent discharge systems. It was found that changes in precipitation due to seasons produce variations in both quality and quantity of wastewater and influence the efficiency of treatment in the Juan Díaz wastewater treatment plant |
