Sumario: ABSTRACT Discipline in the educational field is of the utmost importance, since to educate is not to teach to repeat rules of conduct from memory but to achieve that the student always practices them. These norms and disciplines should be accompanied by self-discipline, which is the control of behavior and authority, which can be given at the same level, thus helping to control the integral formation of the human being. Therefore, it is necessary to create an environment that facilitates the practice of moral principles and values; to form good citizens, responsible students, with a focus on study and that, as time goes by, good habits, responsible, studious and fulfilling of their duties vanish. And the opposite of it is the indiscipline that comes to give a turn of rebellion, disorder in the young student, so that this issue is part of the present study and which is discussed later in this text. It is in educational centers that certain moral and ethical attitudes are complemented, for which both teachers and principals must demonstrate an exemplary behavior inside and outside their workplace, thus strengthening the quality of the services they provide in education. In order to carry out the research, the educational establishment was visited, where two working days of the urban area of the municipality of Santo Domingo Suchitepéquez were held, questionnaires were sent to students, teachers, and an interview with the director to compare the veracity and reveal the causes that affect the indiscipline and the incidence in the Educational Quality. The importance of scientific research lies in knowing the educational problem through the results obtained and give solution to it, this is how the present research focuses on the subject "STUDENT DISCIPLINE IN THE EDUCATIONAL QUALITY OF THE NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF BASIC EDUCATION AND DIVERSIFIED, SANTO DOMINGO SUCHITEPÉQUEZ ".
