ABSTRACT
The present investigation is focused on sexual education as an issue and
at the same time a complex process within the adolescents, so it was identified to
investigate at INEB San Benito de Mazatenango, Suchitepéquez "Sexual Education
and its incidence in adolescents."
The following instruments will be applied: Student Surveys and Teacher
Interviews and Director with the objective of gathering information necessary to
expand the subject. After that, the statistical analysis was applied with formulas and
the execution of graphs where the results were presented; To conclude with an
analysis and interpretation of the results.
According to the research, teenagers know a lot about sex education,
contraceptive methods and transmission infections; However they are always
vulnerable to unwanted pregnancies at an early age due to misuse of certain
methods or misuse in addition to technology, bad companies and even distorted
information.
