Sumario: Parenting styles are formed by various practices, beliefs and attitudes by parents, which are presented through communication, expression affection, skills learning, emotional self-regulation and strategies for Behavior management, however, in relation to adolescence, children have different changes during the transition period in search of autonomy and independence, which can affecttheir development phase, depending on the way Caregivers extends these practices or manifestations that can strength the or propitiate risk factors in the adolescent socialization process. For this reason, research has as its main objective, to analyze the parenting styles influence and beliefs of their parents during the phase of adolescence and therefore the perception as for this, by part of their children. Research designs are not experimental. The study type is descriptive, correlational diagnosis and the selected simple is intentional non-probabilistic, choosing as participants a sample of parents and students of 8 ° and 11 ° of the Institute Justo Arosemena. Among the results obtained, it is shown for both parents and students, the predominant parenting style is the democratic one. On the other hand, as for the influence of the parenting Style and beliefs, it is observed that there is a significance of the permissive style used by the parents in relation to the beliefs of sexuality that their children perceive during adolescence.
