Research determines the relationship between anxiety and aggression in children of school age of sixth grade students. The objective of the research was to establish the relationship between anxiety and aggression in children of school age (Sixth grade) of the Reina Torres de Arauz school. The design of the research is non-experimental and the type of study is cross-correlational. We worked with a total of 30 students of both sexes of sixth grade. A Likert-type scale was applied to diagnose anxiety, adaptation of the CMAS-R standardized test (2011) and Likert-type scale to know the aggressive AQ attitudes of Buss and Perry Spanish adaptation (2002). Among the results obtained it was found that anxiety and aggressiveness have a significant direct relationship Pr = (.544 P = 0.03) Since anxiety is characterized by anger or irritability behaviors which can cause an aggressive response, discrepancy between genders in terms of aggressiveness is important to consider a social problem by violent behavior, along with the consistent finding where it involves mostly the female gender in responding with aggressive attitudes. La ansiedad puede ser definida como un estado en donde las personas reaccionan a situaciones percibidas como amenazantes, con sentimiento de miedo o terror que no se puede controlar o manejar (Acevedo,2014), mientras que la agresividad es una respuesta a un conflicto, con el fin de hacerle daño físico o emocional a otra persona Quijano 2015). La investigación determina la Relación entre la ansiedad y la agresividad en niños de edades escolares de los estudiantes de sexto grado El objetivo de la investigación se centró en establecer la relación que existe entre la ansiedad y la agresividad en los niños de edades escolar (Sexto grado) de la escuela Reina Torres de Arauz. El diseño de la investigación es no experimental y tipo de estudio es correlacional transversal. Se trabajó con una totalidad de 30 estudiantes de ambos sexos en el nivel de sexto grado. Se aplicó una escala tipo Likert para diagnosticar la ansiedad, adaptación de la prueba estandarizada CMAS-R (2011) y escala tipo Likert para conocer las actitudes agresivas AQ de Buss y Perry Adaptación española (2002). En los resultados obtenidos se encontró que la ansiedad y la agresividad tiene una relación directa significativa Pr=(.544 P=0.03); y se caracteriza por conductas de ira o irritabilidad lo que puede ocasionar a responder de forma agresiva.
